That's right ladies and gents - daylight robbery has been committed within my Sky box.  Someone has kidnapped channel 170 - ABC1.  Transmitted by Disney since 2004, the American channel showed mainly comedy and drama.  However, to my great distress, and after just 3 years on air, the entire station has been pulled.  This minor issue (sob) first came to my attention when a friend asked me if the channel had been moved, as sometimes happens on Sky.  I happily switched on the TV, and scrolled through my 'Favourites' list, wholly expecting that it will have been shifted 10 or so places.  Imagine the sheer horror I felt when I realised the gruesome reality - I can no longer watch Scrubs!

This was quickly forgotten, as my mother told me that she had successfully secured tickets for a 30 Seconds to Mars gig in January.  I have attempted to gloat to several people, only to be met with blank expressions and "What's it about?".  (For those of you who don't know, they're an awesome rock band from California).  

My phone (named and shamed - it's a Sony Ericsson V630i) got back from being 'fixed' on Tuesday, only to do exactly what I sent it off to be repaired for.  This, incidentally is switching itself back off immediately after being switched on :@  If you have a V630i, please send an abusive letter to the nice people at the phone shop, and together we'll weather this storm (I don't know what I just said either).

Earlier on in the week, I watched United dismantle Roma, only for them to win by just the one, and be slated by nearly everyone.  Bolton stuttered through against someone who's name I couldn't be bothered researching from Macedonia and Liverpool lost.  Life's good :p
